CASE STUDY:
USI’s Aviation team was assisting an airport client whose Limits of Liability were not keeping pace with airports of similar size due to budget constraints. USI’s team conducted a Contractual Review of all Airport Operations Agreements opening up opportunities for liability transfer through tender opportunities. USI also implemented aggressive Loss Control and Safety focus programs contributing to additional cost containment for the client. After USI’s contract review and program implementation, the Airport was able to increase their overall Limit of Liability protection by $250,000,000 while, at the same time, reducing their annual premium by more than $180,000.
CASE STUDY:
Several US airlines and airports were unable to control the insurance component of Fuel Storage Services as the program was historically provided by a third party on a cost plus basis. USI’s Aviation specialists developed a proprietary risk program providing a long term solution for airlines and airports to properly insure the assets and operations of Jet-A Fuel Storage Facilities and Hydrant Systems at most of the major international airports throughout the continental US and Hawaii. This innovative program created consistency in developing Manuscript Policy Wording and unified Claims Handling, replaced third party vendors providing the participant clients with control over their own program, and created economies of scale delivering over $1 Million in savings.
